I ran 3 miles this am. I timed it at 31 minutes, but that does include construction and 3 stoplights. I wanted to run longer, but I have lunch plans and had to schedule around actually doing stuff today.
I'm thinking about going for a second run later today. What's the verdict on 2 runs/day rather than 1 longer one?
BTW: Aubrey - I thought of you when I finally felt warmed up after about 1.5 miles. Why does it take so long? And what do I do about the fact that by then I'm halfway through the run and just warmed up and - simultaneously - feeling like a lot of my energy is zapped. How do you make a warm up shorter and actually warm you up for a longer run?
And, by popular demand (you're welcome): the song I was last listening to :) Feel free to ridicule :)
Two runs today? What was I thinking? That's a dumb idea...
ReplyDeleteThe weather is gorgeous. So I might go for a long walk :)
Your cheesy crap is way worse than my cheesy crap...just sayin'. ;)
ReplyDeleteI have no idea how to warm up faster. I wish I did, because when it takes so long the probability of quitting is so much higher! Sorry for my absence lately. I've been so lazy that I can't handle the guilty feelings I get when I read about the magnificence of the posers!
