3 miles, 30 minutes. The last song was the same one as yesterday. It was the same cheesy playlist. :P
But, I have to tell you, I'm super damned proud of myself. This week I have logged 15.8 miles (ran 8.6 and walked 7.2). That includes new shoes AND the ankle recovery. I almost didn't run today - my body felt tired and my muscles were a bit sore. But I thought I would just try to run, and then walk it if need be.
I got out there and just felt good! I was sucking air at the end - but I made it. Wahoo! Plus, I feel caught up after taking it easy with the ankle last week. Yes! Back on track!
Tomorrow is a rest day (yes!) and then Sunday concludes the week with a 6 mile long run. I've never run 6 miles (10K!) at once before. But, I'm really excited about it!
