Biggest Loser (Twilight...yes, that was deliberate)


I didn't run again, but I DID do some super-intense cardio and strength training for 30 minutes with Jillian Michael's 30 day-shred. Many of you know Jillian from the eponymous showI'm spoofing in the title. I've done her level 2 and level3exercises before, but because my disc was damaged in the move, I am now sadly relegated to level 1...or so I thought.

OMG. It kicked my ass. I'm not sure if that's testimony to how much my fitness has deteriorated or the simple fact that, Jesus, those workouts are intense. I can see how all those obese people (like Fox, here) would drop weight FAST. It's worth checking out if you need quick cardio and are too lazy to go out and run or it's too fricking hot or it's a combination of both. I have to admit Reno's hills are a little intimidating. I might have to drive down and just run along the Truckee River. Bet y'all thought the city had nothing to offer quite this nice...;)

Will keep you posted...but, yes, I did actually work up a sweat so at least I'm maintaining fitness...Sigh, it's looking like I might wind up going for the half, too, honestly--so much for all that trash-talking...:/
