How am I getting worse?

3.5 miles in 38-39 minutes.

WTF?

  1. It's normal--we haven't run in forever. Muscle memory helps to keep you in enough shape that you can still run the 5k, but your time will suffer until you get used to it again. I'm the same way right now...

  2. That's also not a bad time--Fox. I mean--you need to run the marathon at a steady pace. Better to run at 11/12 minute mile pace and finish then to kill yourself at an unreasonable pace.
